Officially banded together in 1998 after performing "Romeo & Juliet" with an all-star community cast. Having inspired the community to come together to do "Taming Of The Shrew" as our first Company play, we have continued to explore William Shakespeare's work throughout the years, creating family, community, and an undying appreciation for the performing arts in our rural area. The Willits Shakespeare Company started, working within the good graces of the community’s facilities, for rehearsal and performance. We now operate our own venue and have opened it up as a community resource for other performing artists.
